The phrase “I can’t…” is spoken by those who characteristically assess their circumstances with their natural eyes. It is said by those who have compared their physical ability to the need of the moment, and who consider themselves sadly lacking. For within this mode of thinking, man is relying upon his own limitations to determine how he will live his life.
In the coming days, though the storms will rage, I shall be your anchor and refuge. And when your sails billow and whip because of the prevailing winds, I will be there to hold you steady. If a giant wave should roll towards your heading, it shall be My hand that keeps you upright and afloat.
The fate of this nation doesn’t rest on one man, but dwells in the hands of her citizens, for like My people who wandered the desert, every time they rejected Me and embraced foreign gods, My hand of judgment fell upon them. However, it only took repentant hearts to turn the tide of My favor back their direction, but this change was based on their decision to follow after Me again.
There is a growing concern, and rightly so, about the validity of election returns, specifically, those votes which have been cast by mail, since those politicians pushing this idea forward are not above adding to the count if it means they reinstate their power.
Does a field hand have a say in his Masters business? Does he make the decisions over the Master’s affairs, or, is this one merely a servant who obediently follows his Master’s instructions? If I say to My servant, “Here is the field you shall tend!”, wouldn’t this hired hand take the plow and start tilling that plot of land?
