This shutdown is only temporary, but will last until I accomplish within this season what I have intended, and it will, therefore, stay in place until My hand moves it out of the way.
Adversity / Challenges
The state of affairs in this country is about to shift where there will be a more favorable environment for My people to stand in so that the Good News My children carry will not only be welcomed but well received. Then, what I am doing now amongst My own is preparing them for the days ahead, so that many of them will develop the courage to speak up about their faith because their hearts have become sold out for Me.
The significance of a challenge is born out of the adversity experienced.
For through the depths of a trial lies the point of transformation, where the old beliefs are exchanged for the new, and faith once again has the opportunity to abound. For here is the reason behind the struggles of life: not to punish, but to bring growth; where life must be examined with spiritual eyes so that the real issues can be vetted and understood.
“Are you willing?” is the question I ask each of My children.
“Are you willing to walk the difficult road of denying yourself in order to see My promises fulfilled? Are you willing to seek Me even when your heart is not in the battle and you have grown weary of fighting?”
Beloved, I will always challenge My children to go against their natural inclinations; to battle against their flesh and its pull to live a comfortable life.
For this is the way of man: to live out his days in pursuit of what makes him happy at the moment. Because the heart of mankind is fickle, he is prone to change his mind on a whim, as his flesh is always crying out to be satisfied. Yet what it takes to subdue this voice is always shifting, leading many to embark on a “chase” to find the one thing that will silence its urgings.
Transformation begins on the inside. It is the place where I start to work, as the development process I have chosen, that takes effect once someone opens his heart to Me. Then, and only then, am I able to exercise the necessary pressure to bring in everlasting change.
True contentment is not found in your surroundings or the things you own. It is found in Me, in who I am, by the one who seeks to dwell in the sanctuary of My presence; whose eyes are fixed above the temporal things of this life. For now, their sights are focused upon the place where I dwell, as if entering a safe harbor with quiet waters and tranquil seas; guided into port by the soft whisper of My voice (which always points to the perfect place of entry as the corridor for discovering inner peace) where the cares of this world can be abandoned, left behind in the rough seas of struggle, cast aside as if thrown out into the waves.
When the winds of change blow across the land, there is a cleansing effect which happens as the old is pushed out, making way for the new I wish to be ushered in. For this hearty gust is not something meant to cause worry as it carries within it the seeds of the future.
