Legacy! Who among you will pass My legacy on to their children? Which of you will see that the next generation receives the rich inheritance bestowed upon believers by their Heavenly Father, the One who is the true patriarch of mankind?
Savior
The Lion shall lie down with the Lamb, for where there had once been enmity, there only exists peace. The One who is called “Jehovah” was slain to avert the Father’s wrath, so that those who deserved punishment could be found blameless. For in Him their regrets no longer bear any consequence since His death broke the chains of judgment. So like a young sheep who was led to the slaughter, He walked this lonely path, for it was His life alone that was chosen to be the sacrifice for mankind.
The triumphant entry of My Son was a declaration to the world that the true King had come at last. Yet, the overall effect this announcement had on those, who at that time, were considered scholars of My Word, was denial. So, although they spent their days studying and memorizing My earlier writings, these learned men missed what I was doing at those moments because their hearts were clouded by sinful thoughts and a selfish agenda. This prophetic fulfillment was overlooked by those who claimed to be authorities on the Scriptures, even as it came to pass right before their very eyes. For these religious leaders had developed their own ideas of how My Kingdom would unfold here on earth. So then, to have the Messiah actually come from a carpenter’s son, was not something they could fathom; for they believed the One who had been foretold would surely hold a more stately position amongst the communities of men, as someone who was already well respected.
The cup and the wafer represent what My Son did through salvation when His body and blood were laid down. His sacrifice was not something to take lightly, and that is why He instructed all believers to remember what He did by the way of communion. For as My children pause and reflect upon His gift, their hearts should be filled with a sense of awe as they picture what He went through so that I could have them for My very own.
The identity of a person should not be determined through outside factors; these should not be what tells someone of his worth and value, nor distinguish his place in society. Yet by using a cursory evaluation and making superficial judgments, this is how most people decide who should be viewed as more worthy of attention and acclaim. So mankind has set the shallow standard of achievement or outward appearance as its marks of acceptance. Those who do not stand out in either of these areas are labeled as just ordinary, or maybe even sub-par; not given a second look or thought to be much more than normal and middle of the road; as those who can’t quite measure up to society’s ideals of exceptional.
Do not be afraid when turbulent waters enter your land and things around you appear to be grim because those in power, who are seated in high places, make choices to try and silence My voice. This is the way of man. For sin has taken hold of his heart, and so he makes plans to shut down anyone who would shine the light on his darkness and expose him for what he truly is. Any attempt to keep My words quiet will fail, for I am able to speak over the walls man tries to erect!
What is it that defines a man?
What are the words used to describe who he is? Are the words or phrases colorful, depicting a cheery fellow, or dark and dreary because his disposition seems rather cloudy? What is it about a person who tells others who he is? Is it by reviewing his general countenance, such as his posture or facial expressions? Or something beyond his physical appearance, maybe those things he owns? Or is it his career, how he makes a living? What are the key elements which speak out to others, that give someone the voice to say, “This is who I am”, so that when another thinks of him, there is no question about his identity regarding the “type” of person he is?
