Oh how the mighty have fallen! For those who sought to prop themselves upon man-made thrones, built their seats out of cheap material, purchased from the father of lies: the one who is known for his sinister reputation, and who is not partial about who he traps with his evil schemes.
A disruption is coming to the Democrat ticket, for the allegations against the former Vice President can’t be ignored any longer. This man who sought the presidency has been found out, for he misused his position when he was the sitting Vice President to aggrandize himself and his family’s wealth.
The flag of this nation has been proudly flying since her founding, and has boldly waved over this people for many decades. For even when there was a war between the States, “Old Glory” remained the banner of this country. And though the sovereignty she represents has known a few attacks, both foreign and domestic, this flag has never ceased to symbolize freedom, not only to this land, but to the whole world.
The lesser of two evils is the attitude of most when they approach polling places these days, for to choose a worthy candidate is now decided by who amongst the field has fewer black marks against them or distasteful skeletons in their closet. So then, the one chosen to lead isn’t necessarily selected because of their stellar reputation, nor because they are the most qualified to hold the seat, but because he or she was more palatable to a larger segment of the population.
